ABOUT ME

I’m Leviticus Wright, a wildlife photographer with a background in marine biology and a deep passion for conservation storytelling. From prairie dogs in Texas to orangutans in Borneo, I’m always chasing those honest, emotional moments in nature that connect us to the wild world in a real way. I try to bring quiet patience and purpose into every photograph I take. Whether I’m out before sunrise or deep in a rainforest, I want my work to make people pause and feel something — wonder, respect, urgency, connection. I don’t just want to document wildlife. I want to help protect it.

As a certified diver and licensed drone pilot, I’ve expanded my lens to capture wildlife from the air, beneath the sea, and across wild landscapes. These tools allow me to tell more complete stories — to follow a pod of dolphins as they break the surface or to witness sea turtles glide through coral gardens. I believe perspective matters, and the more ways we can experience nature, the more deeply we connect with it.

Whether it’s the quiet blink of a prairie dog pup or the thunderous splash of a humpback whale breach, I aim to create images that linger and stir something real. My hope is that each photograph invites people to see the world with more curiosity and care. Because when we feel connected to the wild, we’re more likely to protect it — and right now, that connection has never mattered more

Education:

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from Texas A&M University in 2020. Since then, I’ve continued to grow my skills in photography and editing, studying advanced techniques in lighting, masking, and visual storytelling through both field experience and focused learning.
